"Tasks, jobs, work" means work or jobs that a customer requires to be bid for and completed by contractors or tradesmen in line with the offered scope.

"Users, members, you" – the person, people or entity agreeing to use our website or services.

"Contract" means – a contract between the customer and the contractor containing the scope of work and timescales associated with the task, jobs or work.

You agree that it is your responsibility to select a contractor or tradesman and that Website is not responsible for the content of your advertisement, selecting contractors or for any work completed by contractors or tradesmen. The service provided by us is merely providing a mechanism for the customer to advertise their work to potential contractors and for contractors to have an opportunity to bid for customers work. You must ensure that you are able to legally advertise and hold to the contract as you have described the work. You must describe the work in enough detail to allow the contractor to precisely bid for the work and contract it. It is the responsibility of the customer to check the credibility, qualifications, insurance cover, and track record and any other necessary documentation from the contractor prior to the contractor undertaking any work. It is also the responsibility of the customer to enter into a contract with the selected contractor before the contractor commences any work to prevent any confusion over the scope. The Company cannot accept any liability in respect of any contract or other agreement entered into between the customer and the contractor. In particular, but without limitation, the Company can accept no liability relating to the work performed by any contractor and accordingly shall not be liable to the Customer for any occurrence resulting from the introduction of the tradesman to the Customer including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential or inconsequential loss of any kind suffered by the customer howsoever arising.

trades4work makes no warranty for the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by the Customer. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that the customer is credible and has supplied correct information and has adequate finances and other such provisions before commencing any work. trades4work makes no guarantee to refer any work to contractors. The customer retains the right to withdraw its job in the absence of a contract or any deviation from the bid or work scope offered or if the credibility of the contractor is not proven through qualifications, insurance cover or other necessary documentation. As a trade professional, you must ensure that you are legally able to tender for a Job. In addition, you must ensure that you are legally able to perform the work specified in the Job description. The Website is not party to any contract made between the customer and the trade professional in relation to a job and accordingly shall not be liable to the for any occurrence resulting from the introduction of the customer to the contractor including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential or inconsequential loss of any kind suffered by the contractor howsoever arising.

All customers will be able to provide feedback on the contractor that has completed a job. Contractors accept that trades4work.com is not responsible for the content of the feedback that the customer posts on the website, or any harm done by such content. The customer who provides feedback is directly responsible for the feedback and accepts responsibility legality and liability for it. All users accept that any abusive feedback will be removed and users who post such feedback will be banned from using the services.
